Chalom investments Limited is a registered money lending institution in the Republic of Zambia under registration license no:0001328 as stated by the money lending Act of the ministry of finance and is committed to maintaining the privacy and security of your personal information which you provide to us through the use of the website and web application system.

We aim to employ best practices of collecting and processing of your personal information that comply with relevant laws such the Data Policy Act of 2021.
The privacy policy is what governs the processing i.e., collecting, storing, usage, sharing and disposal of personal information that you provide to us through the website, email, WhatsApp correspondence, loan application forms and any other application that may be developed in future to help with the collection of personal information to process a loan.
We therefore implore you to carefully read through this privacy policy before continuing to using our system and provide us with any personal information so that you understand how the information you provide will be treated.

By using the system, website and subsequently providing us with personal information, you agree and acknowledge that you are aware of the practices as described and enshrined herein. Personal information is what you give to us voluntarily through the use of the website / web application system. This information is collected through signing up on the system, correspondence with our loan officers and by completing the application form which may be given to you.

Personal Information in simple terms can be defined as any data that can be used to identify an individual. This information includes, but not limited to; Names, contact information, Identification numbers , date of birth, financial information, health information among others.
Information that does not identify a person is not covered in this privacy policy and we also don’t collect information relating to children as this site is not intended for them.

Therefore, having read and understood what this privacy policy covers on personal information. You hereby warranty that;

You (client) shall provide complete and accurate information as requested by the loan application form and the system during user registration or account creation including phone numbers, national registration card numbers, date of birth, email addresses, passwords among others.
All the details including documents shared by the client should belong to them and not another person unless otherwise stated in writing or authorized by the third-party.
The information provided maybe be shared with the courts of law, investigative wings and other relevant entities pursuant to the law of the state should there be need to settle legal disputes
In the event where you (client) provide us with information about another person, you warranty that you have that person’s immediate express permission to give us that information.
Further, In the event that you (client) change any personal information such as phones numbers, home addresses etc. You are required to notify us of such changes as soon as this is reasonably possible.

Shall not at any point or time reveal the said information to any third-part unless otherwise it is requested by the client or by the state through the Police or other departments of the state given the mandate to do so and for investigation purposes only.
Shall treat the data with strict confidentiality and will be stored securely on the system and will not be made available to the public domain.
Will provide you (client) with access to this personal information to view and /or update personal details.
Will take appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure that your personal information is kept secure and is protected against unauthorised or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage, alteration, disclosure or access

Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between Chalom Investments Limited (referred to as the "Lender," "we," "our," or "us") and the borrower (referred to as the "Borrower",”Client” or "you").

By accessing our services or accepting a loan from us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully;

We check and submit your details to credit reference bureau (CRB) to establish creditworthiness.
The collateral submitted belongs to you and is registered in your names (in case of paper work) unless otherwise stated or put in writing and signed by the owner authorizing the use of the property or asset.
The client to pay the monthly installments on or before the repayment dates as calculated by the system before the interest can be accumulated. However, this may follow a grace period of five (5) days given to the client in which payments must be made.
A charge of K100 shall be applied as processing fee regardless of the loan amount being acquired.
The loan application will include a review process in which your credit history, income and other relevant factors shall be determined.
Loan terms, including the loan amount, interest rate, repayment schedule, and fees, will be specified on the system.
We reserve the right to approve or deny loan applications at our discretion and submission of a loan application does not guarantee approval.
The client is at liberty to cut the loan tenure short which will be re-calculated by the system.
In the event of default, we may take legal action to collect outstanding debts and may repossess collateral, if applicable.
You provide accurate and complete information during loan application process.
You are meet any other additional eligibility criteria specified by us.

Updates

These terms and conditions are subject to review, updates, modification and amendments at our discretion. We will notify the clients whenever such amendments have been made through the website
